Valentine’s Threads

Whether you are going out with your girlfriends or significant other, looking great on Valentine’s day is important. I say, do not be afraid to wear pink. You can see the hue all over magazines, blogs, and fashionistas. Pastel is in this year too, and I am loving the two above looks by Katie Ermilio. The pink shorts are fabulous with the bow, I love anything high-waisted. The mint-colored dress is the perfect mix of sweet and sexy, which in my mind is the perfect mix for Valentine’s Day.

Our Frenemy…Sweet Nothings

Until you get overly excited, thinking that you are going to read an awesome cake recipe, this article I read today, just ended a lot of my sugar cravings. (well, some cravings) Sugar is killing 35 million people a year. Not only because of obesity either. Our sweet friend, or enemy, is causing high blood pressure, a slower metabolism, messed up hormones, the list continues, even causing damage to many people’s livers. Scientists believe that sugar should be regulated as much as alcohol and tobacco. My advice..start sweetening your tea with honey…
